Story

Hello everyone,

This year, we have an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by participating in Bridge to Brisbane and running for a cause close to our hearts.

We are proud to announce that our team is sponsoring the incredible organisation Orange Sky, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people experiencing homelessness by providing mobile laundry and shower services across Australia.

You can support our efforts and help us reach our fundraising goal by making a secure online donation. After donating, you can even leave a message of support on our page – it would be great to read these.

Together we can make a big impact on race day!

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly to Orange Sky.

Thank you so much for your support!

Orange Sky Australia (ORANGE SKY LAUNDRY INC)

Orange Sky Australia is the world’s first free mobile laundry service for people experiencing homelessness – an idea founded in a Brisbane garage by two 20-year-old mates, Nic Marchesi and Lucas Patchett. In late 2014, the boys installed a couple of washing machines and dryers in the back of their old van and visited parks around Brisbane to wash and dry clothes for free. What started as an idea to improve hygiene standards and restore dignity to people doing it tough has evolved into something much bigger and more powerful. Orange Sky has now grown to 36 services in 25 locations across Australia and has provided Australians doing it tough with over 2 million kilograms of free laundry, 20,000 showers and 330,000 hours of genuine and non-judgemental conversation across 36 service locations.
