Hey everyone,
This year I am making a difference by participating in Bridge to Brisbane and running for a cause that is close to my heart SU chaplaincy at Lawnton State School.
Did you know that school chaplaincy currently receives about 1.5 days of government funding. At Lawnton State School we currently provide 5 days of chaplaincy service to the school community. This is why I'm running in the Bridge to Brisbane to raise funds to help cover the other 3.5 days of chaplaincy service.
Your generous support will enable a chaplain to be there when students, parents and staff need that compassion, care and practical support that SU chaplains provide.
You can financially support my efforts and help me reach my fundraising goal by making a secure online donation. After donating you can even leave a message of support on my page – it would be great to read these.

Lawnton State School (Scripture Union Chaplaincy)
SU Australia school Chaplains, or 'Chappies', support the holistic wellbeing of our school communities across Australia. Chaplains provide a listening ear and a caring presence for children and young people in crisis. They also provide support for staff and parents in school communities. Support is provided through one-on-one support, running small groups and other community activities. School Chaplains make a difference, and are loved by their communities.
